We have received 4 more inches of snow overnight here in Frisco following snow throughout the day yesterday. Another storm is forecast for Wednesday evening and a big dump for the weekend is on the horizon. The storm track is finally changing to a normal pattern!!!

Copper Mountain has it’s annual safety week in full swing this week, amongst other resorts. Giving the public a chance to see season-long safety efforts from Copper affiliated groups as well as non.

Some that will be there include: National Ski Patrol, Flight for Life, Woodward at Copper, Copper Mountain Ski Patrol, avalanche dogs and more!

Prizes are also being given away at 1 pm. daily.

White Christmas

Storm systems passing through Colorado this week hopefully bringing a white Christmas this year.

Forecasters are predicting 2-6 in. in the high country with snow expected Wed-Thur and again on Saturday bringing a white Christmas morning on Sunday!

A gift we can definitely use this Christmas holiday.

Silverthorne Ice Castle is underway!

Brent Christensen of Silverthorne has been working diligently to put together his masterpiece ‘Ice Castle’ creation.

Located on the North lawn of the Silverthorne pavilion center, Brent hopes to be done in early December weather permitting.

When finished, the formations will be as tall as 30 ft. and visitors will be able to explore and admire the masterpiece as they navigate the formations.
