Frisco is a quaint, small town in Summit County, Colorado. Frisco’s Main Street, known as “Main Street to the Rockies”, is framed by Lake Dillon and the Frisco Marina to the east end and the entrance to the Eagles Nest Wilderness to the west.
The peaks of the Ten Mile and Gore ranges tower above town. Between these recreation areas lies the core of the town, with its inviting atmosphere, and some of the best restaurants and shops in the Rockies.
Frisco has the feel of a village, yet is surrounded by the bustling resorts of Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, and Vail. Main Street beckons visitors to visit attractions including the historic park and museum, the marina, independently owned craft shops, art galleries, and retail shops. A large variety of excellent restaurants offer cuisine to suit any taste. Frisco’s location provides a central base from which visitors can experience resorts, activities, and scenic vistas in all directions.
The ambiance of Frisco is a huge attraction. The town has a deep historical heritage from its mining days, and many residents and their families have been here for decades and generations. Frisco has an authentic heritage and a tradition of hospitality which visitors sense as soon as they arrive. The layout of the town, with its central Main Street, allows guests, once they arrive at the lodge, to walk to virtually any activity.
Lake Dillon and the Frisco Marina provide sailing, motor boat, kayak and canoe rentals to explore the lake. The lake is only a five minute walk down Main Street.
The unique, central location of the Frisco Lodge, allows you to step off Main Street into the Lodge’s courtyard and leave all of your cares behind. The courtyard’s water features and soothing sound system provide a tranquil paradise just a few steps off Main Street.
The county-wide bike path network is just down the street in several directions connecting to Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Keystone, Vail and beyond. Hiking trails and mountain bike trails radiate from town in all directions.
The Frisco Historic Park is just two blocks down Main Street. The historic park features many carefully restored buildings and cabins depicting the history of the area. The adjacent gazebo is the home of Frisco’s “Concert in the Park” series and many other events. The Frisco Visitor’s Center is less than a block to the west for information galore.
