Four Must See Events In Summit County January 2018
Wed Jan 10th 5:30-8: 30 pm- F*$# Cancer Fundraiser @ 6th Alley Bar & Grill, A-Basin Ski Resort. This fundraiser is for two Summit County locals Tim Finnigan and John Catrambone. There will be a silent auction, Mexican buffet from 6:00-7: 00 pm, all proceeds go directly to assisting Tim and John. Tickets $20
Wed Jan 10th- Sat Jan 13th- Ullr Fest, one of the biggest celebrations of the year!
Wed Jan 10th- “Breck’s Got Talent” hosted by radio station “It’s Always Mountain Time” at Riverwalk Center 150 W Adams Ave
Thu Jan 11th-
4:00 pm- World Record attempt for longest shot ski (previous year was 1,245’ long!)
4:30 pm- Ullr Parade with floats and cash prizes
5:00-7:00 pm- Ullr bonfire at South Gondola parking lot. Entertainment by Red Bull
Fri Jan 12th-
10 am-Noon- Hangover Breakfast @ Quandary Grill 505 S Main St Breckenridge
2:00 - 4:00 pm- Ullr Ice plunge @ Maggie Pond, music, food, and fun. Best Plunge costume contest, hot tubs provided on site to thaw out
7:00 pm - Comedy night @ Breck Riverwalk Center 150 W Adams Ave Breckenridge, Show starts at 8 pm, tickets available at BreckCreate.org, $25
Sat Jan 13th-
11 am - 12:45 pm- Ice Skating party @ Stephen West Ice Arena 189 Boreas Pass Rd Breckenridge
2:00 - 4:00 pm- Family Snow Day @ Carter Park 300 S High St Breckenridge, sledding, snowman building, art projects, snacks, and warm drinks. Free event
6 pm- Wild & Scenic Film Festival, global adventure films that will get your heart pumping. Show starts at 7 pm, tickets $20 advance, $25 at the door
Sat Jan 20th @ 6:00 pm- Spontaneous Combustion Community Bonfire @ Frisco Bay Marino in Frisco, fueled by recycled Christmas trees. Food, beverages, and alcohol for sale, fireworks @ 8 pm
Sat Jan 27th 4:00-9:00 pm- Moonlight Dine and Ski @ Copper Mountain. Enjoy a specially prepared menu created by Chef Susan Vlass. Check-in is 3:45-4:30pm, dinner service 6:00-8:45pm, and skiing until 8:30pm. Live music provided by “Best of Summit” multi-finalist Beau Thomas. Complimentary 2 cocktails for each adult. Tickets are $120/adult, $90 child (12-21), $440 group of 4 adults
